SWATH, it's done!

Snow White and the Huntsman, it's done. There was a big party last night to celebrate that!

Now let's wait for the movie to be released!

I wrapped in Snow White last night. I shall miss those noble dwarves and the mighty huntsman and the lovely Snow White.

This means it's almost the end :( Don't forget the wrap party tomorrow!

• Well take about a gorgeous day! Sun, golden sand, and what looks like will be an epic movie!

• Watching the charge of horses through explosions. One rider down, ambulance on beach.

• Resetting for another take. Very windy up here. A lot more people watching today.

• Yesterday cold, today sunburnt! Incredible day on set! More footage of the cavalry charge, with cannon fire explosions! Love it! :o)

• 1st Units camp was down on the beach today. A lot of the crew making the most of the "summer". Interviews here.
• The horses were kept well watered in today's conditions. Never seen such patient animals before in my life!
• Production crew reviewing a take on the fixed-cam.
• Here you can see the special effects in place before the charge! Must be a ton of sand covering each air cannon.
• The quiet before the storm! Huge amount of crew in place, hidden behind rocks to keep out of shot.
• I am told some of them are Spanish. The black horses particularly are monstrous! :o)
• Here you can get an idea of the quantity of horses and vehicles that move around the beach!
• The start of the charge. The boom from the air cannons echoed around the bay. The horses didn't flinch at all
• Although one rider was flung from his saddle. After immediate treatment he left the location by quad.
• This is the vehicle taking the majority of the shots. The guys seem to love the open beach!!!
• Wide angle of the island where the castle will stand in the movie. On days like this I feel lucky to live here!
• With the cross-shore wind we have today, it was definitely a good day for the flags and pennants!
• One of the charging knights. If you have keen eyes you will spot Kristen and Chris.
• Another photo of a knight with Kristen and Chris in the background.
• The war-band! Fantastic horse handlers, friendly people, really very impressive
• And credit should go to the dumper-drivers, constantly shuttling sand along the beach for the air cannons.
• And thats it! I didn't pursue more photos of Kristen because of my luck yesterday. Plus, I didn't want to be intrusive!
• I hope you like the pics guys! Remember you all saw them first! I will go back tonight, just to get some sunset shots.
• Kristen was earlier today. She has left now, her double has taken her place. :o)

Snow White And The Huntsman; Update 9/26

New Tweets and pictures of Snow White and the Huntsman has been released. Pitty enough, there is no Kristen Stewart in this part.

• #SWATH Less than 48 hrs until filming starts down here. Horse trailers arriving in convoy plus equestrian stunt team from Spain. Busy times!

• Its getting even busier here now. Just been up to see the film crew camp. Huge white accommodation trailers pulling up.

• Going 2nite for pre-shoot wander. Hopefully get some photos for you over the next few days.

• #SWATH It's the day before filming, grey and windy. Currently armed with a camera heading for the location. Standby for some photos...

• #SWATH On location now, will post photos soon. It's wet and windy, but loads going on. Two helicopters with camera rigs arrived on field.

• #SWATH The tech crew built this to get the 80+ horses down to the beach. Props of dead + injured horses have been made.

• #SWATH Tech + DoPs checking over 2 aerial-cam helicopters. The boom suggests the helicopter will fly low over action.

• #SWATH The stunt guys! They have been practising a ground drag behind a horse. The guy sat down has a rope on his foot.

• #SWATH There will be a castle standing on this island, courtesy of the FX dept. It is to here that the horses charge.

• #SWATH There is stabling for around 100 horses on site now, with tons of feed and hay. Trainers + hands living in vans.

• #SWATH The sheer quantity of accommodation on site now is just incredible. And the catering trucks smell amazing!

• #SWATH Filming starts 2moro. 80+ Horses will charge up beach towards the castle. Waiting 4 call from location dept. Might b working on site.

• #SWATH I hope the previous photos have been OK. I will bring you more news and photos as the week goes on. Until then... :o)

• From what I can gather from talking to the tech and location guys, Kristen will not be here. Cheers!

Snow White and the Huntsman update; 9/16

Set soldier @KristenStewbabe landed some pictures today and a few bits of information about Kristen filming.

Kristen will be there in or about 4 to 6 weeks to run through these trees like Snow White apparently did in the original animated film. 

Fans are not turned away from where they are building the trees which is really nice.  It allows fans to at least feel a part of the SWATH experience.
